Brooklyn is proving to be a most excellent place to live. Two data points: 1) The proximity of Union Hall and all of it’s indoor bocce goodness, and 2) the ability to sell just about anything on craigslist within 4 hours. (Goodbye G5 PowerMac, hello half-the-price-and-twice-as-fast iMac)

another little update

I’ve been doing a lot of things in the last few months. Here are four of them:
I stayed at a (an?) 100 year old farmhouse.

I took a picture from the roof of my new apartment.

I hung out with Bill and two thousand of his closest friends.

And I hung out with my grand parents.

After an incredibly long work month, this Sunday was met with the following:

Incredibly heavy, sleep inducing rain.
A half-block sprint through said rain to grab the paper.
A safe return, followed by extreme couch lounging, reading said paper.
Ordering lots of stuff thanks to the Internet. (Thanks Internet!)
Lots of tea, coffee, and cheese
Not doing any work, whatsoever.


On waiting for the storm

Well, the predictions of snow have steadily raised from 6 inches, to 8 inches, and now to 12 to 14 inches. My fingers are crossed for a huge snow, and I am happily holed up in my 90 degree apartment, watching fox news channel warn me about the hundreds of ways that snow can kill.
