On getting back into the swing of things
Published on October 3, 2005
So I could give you a recap of what I’ve been doing the last month or so, but we’re just getting back into this whole interweb thing, so let’s start small:
My last memorable cup of coffee was at my cousin’s wedding when I was about 15. I have fond memories of carefully portioning the coffee to sugar ratio so as to create a delightfully sweet, coffee flavored paste. Quite a treat.
There may have been one or two coffee based beverages here and there in the meantime, but I don’t really count those, as they probably involved either whipped cream or some sort of elaborate chocolate shavings.
I’m digressing here, and as I mentioned, we’re starting small, so suffice it to say, I found myself in Seattle for a day or two last week and saw it fitting to give coffee (er, espresso) another shot. I tried a latte. I liked it so much that I had one the next day. And this week? Maybe even a third.
And tomorrow, maybe I’ll share something else.
