Mini? No. Saab? Maybe.

I took a test drive in a Mini Cooper yesterday. The ride was nice and I liked the car, but I sure didn’t care for the salesjerk. The first thing I asked him, after sitting down in the car, was to tell me specifically what options were installed in the vehicle. He detailed to me about the performance package and the cold-weather package and their many features, and all of it sounded great. What I found out after the fact - when asking for a print out of that particular car’s specs - is that he forgot to mention about two thousand dollars worth of “extras” that were in the car, included a set of $800 headlights.
Can I add that they only had two Minis in stock (which is not uncommon due to high demand). Seriously people, if you only have two cars in stock, know what’s in them.
So that slowed my Mini hunt for a bit. Now I’ve moved onto a used Saab. I’ll be test-driving this weekend.
