Restart

Published on May 26, 2004

I’ve started writing this entry about six times now. It keeps sitting in my drafts list, so I’ll just give it a go.

Lots of stuff going on in the world that interest me, and lots of potentially less exciting things going on in my life, so allow me to recap, albeit briefly:

  • I was home for a short visit this weekend past - it was nice to see the fam for the first time since christmas. Exciting Queensbury news includes a whole heck of a lot of construction at the old school, a new Target going in, and a few less trees in our backyard.

  • Emma, my oldest younger sister, arrived from overseas. We talked about the French, freedom, and vomit.

  • Off to California for a long Memorial Day weekend. Items on the agenda include Darryl, Alcatraz, and giant sequoias.

  • Tons of work at work, but strangely, not that unenjoyable. I’m learning a lot about relational databases, SQL, and crystal reports.

  • I bought an iPod. I think.

I think that’s about it. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, I’d like to do some major tweaking on this here website, but motivation is not high. I love the idea of CSS and a well coded, validated site. I don’t love the thought of all of the cross platform testing required to get to that point.
