The Boston Marathon yesterday

The Boston Marathon yesterday proved to be most excellent. A beautiful day made for excellent marathon viewing, though the sun got to me a bit and I managed to come away with a nicely sunburned face. We got to watch the winners finish as well as cheer on the thousands of runners. I was quite surprised by the amount of good nature held in people who had just finished running 26.2 miles. One runner in the top 500 (out of 20,000) stopped to do 10 pushups just in front of the finish line. Thumbs ups and waves came from many of the other competitors.
Easter Sunday was nice as well. Eric, Adam, Julie, and I celebrated with the traditional Easter burrito from Anna’s Taqueria - a true Mexican delight.
What else this weekend? Jeff officially left the apartment, watched Harry Potter 2, met with a potential roommate (who most definitely will not be living here), watched Best in Show, napped, went grocery shopping, made homemade macaroni and cheese, got an Easter basket from Liz (thanks!), tried to return a phone call to mom & dad (you didn’t pick up!), did some laundry, cleaned the apartment, got a sunburn, walked a ton, and took another nap.
All in all, very nice.
